Retention data is unavailable
Learn why YouTube retention can be delayed or unavailable for a video.
Common reasons
YouTube may not return audience-retention data for a new video, a video with limited eligible viewing data, or a video that is still being processed. VidCC cannot create retention data that YouTube has not made available.
What to try
- Open the video in YouTube Studio and check whether audience-retention data appears there.
- Confirm that the correct channel is active in VidCC.
- For a recent upload, wait and try again after YouTube has processed more analytics.
- Reconnect YouTube if analytics are missing across several established videos.
