Privacy Policy

Effective: October 5, 2026 (version 2026-10-05)

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The U.S. Supplemental Privacy Policy below describes additional rights for residents of certain states.

About this policy

Coepit operates the VidCC application and website. In this policy, "we," "our," and "us" refer to Coepit.

This policy applies to the VidCC website and application and supplements our Terms of Service. Where consent is needed, we ask for it separately.

Information we collect

Personal data is information that identifies you or relates to you. Depending on how you use VidCC, we collect the following categories.

Account and payment information

Your account details, contact information, and subscription and transaction records. Stripe handles payment processing; we do not store your full payment-card details.

Connected accounts

Information from accounts you choose to connect, including Google and YouTube account, channel, video, and performance data, and TikTok data when that connection is available. Identifiers for previously connected community accounts remain until their connection is removed.

You can manage your connected YouTube and TikTok accounts in Settings or contact us about removing an older account connection. Connected services also apply their own privacy policies.

Content and activity

Information you submit or generate through VidCC, including analysis requests, conversations, results, and feedback. With your permission, we also collect information about how you use the service.

Device and location information

Technical information about your device, browser, and connection, including your IP address. Optional analytics include your approximate country.

Google and YouTube data

VidCC uses YouTube API Services. Your use of these features is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We use and share YouTube API data to provide your connected features and analysis, and for the service improvement described below.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not use your data for advertising, lending, or creditworthiness assessments.
  • You can revoke Coepit's access for VidCC to your YouTube data at any time via the Google Security Settings page.

TikTok data

If you connect TikTok, we read your account profile, published video details, performance and retention data, and public comments and replies to display and analyze your content. Available trending search keywords support content research. These features use read-only access and do not publish videos or comments on your behalf.

When TikTok video analysis is available and you upload your original video file for it, we keep a compressed video and audio copy of that file in private Google Cloud Storage. We do not download videos from TikTok. We process that copy, video details, and retention data through our AI provider to produce your analysis. Public comments and replies are displayed as context; they are not included in the current automated video analysis.

AI features and service improvement

We use AI providers to process your requests and generate insights and responses. Your results and conversations are saved so you can return to them. Where video inspection is available, a follow-up chat question may cause the model to examine a relevant part of the video again. For TikTok, this uses the same private copy while it remains available; saved text history does not preserve access to an expired video copy.

When Help improve VidCC analyses is enabled, authorized staff may review your analyses, connected YouTube data, chats and feedback to evaluate and improve analysis quality. This setting is on by default. You can turn it off in Settings → Privacy. Turning it off, disconnecting YouTube or deleting your account removes your analyses from this review. TikTok data, including account and video metadata, retention, comments, retained media, and feedback from TikTok analyses, is excluded from this review and current model-improvement use.

How we use information

We use personal data to:

  • Provide VidCC, manage your account and subscriptions, and respond to you.
  • Understand use of the service and improve its features and analysis quality, subject to your preferences.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate VidCC and remember your preferences. Essential storage is always active. Optional analytics start only after you accept. You can change your choice here or in Settings → Privacy.

Manage analytics preferences in Settings

With your permission, we use analytics to understand how VidCC is used and improve the service. Turning analytics off stops new collection and requests deletion of associated account analytics. Your choice stays active until you change it or we ask for permission for a changed use.

Who we share information with

We share relevant information with service providers that help us operate VidCC:

  • Railway for hosting and data storage in the United States.
  • Google for sign-in, connected YouTube features, private video and audio storage through Google Cloud Storage, and AI processing through Vertex AI.
  • TikTok for optional connected account, video, insights, comments, and keyword research features.
  • Stripe for payments and subscriptions.
  • PostHog for optional usage analytics in the United States.
  • Sentry for technical diagnostics and reliability monitoring in Germany, within the EU.
  • Community providers for managing or removing previously connected memberships.

International processing and security

Your information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the EU. We use appropriate safeguards to protect it, although no online service can guarantee complete security.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, security, and accounting requirements. Saved content supports your account history, subject to your deletion choices.

YouTube API data is retained while your connection is authorized and removed within 7 days of disconnection or revocation. Recent-video details have a retention period of up to 6 days. Temporary verification records are kept for up to one day after expiry; community membership details remain until unlinking is complete.

Private TikTok video and audio copies expire after seven days by default. The configured retention period is between one and 30 days. At expiry, we stop using the copy for analysis or further inspection and begin deleting it; cloud deletion can take time to complete. Saved analysis and conversation history can remain after the media expires, subject to your deletion choices.

TikTok account and video data supports your connected features while access is authorized. Disconnecting TikTok stops new access and starts removal of its saved data, analyses, conversations, and private media copies. Removal can take time to complete. Disconnecting VidCC does not delete your posts or other data held by TikTok.

To prevent repeat use of the first-payment Plus offer, we retain hashed Google account and YouTube channel identifiers, their associations, and offer redemption records after unlinking or account deletion. These records are pseudonymous, not anonymous, and are used to check offer eligibility.

PostHog analytics have a one-year retention period. Older records from our previous analytics system have a retention period of up to three years. Withdrawal or account deletion requests earlier removal of associated account analytics; unlinked visits follow the retention period. Deletion can take time to complete after a request or retention period ends.

Account deletion removes your account and associated content. Limited records may remain where needed for legal, billing, or security purposes, with identifying information reduced where appropriate. Aggregated information and model-improvement records follow their applicable retention requirements.

Deleting data stored by VidCC does not delete data held by YouTube. To delete data on YouTube, use YouTube or another authorized client that supports that action.

Privacy incidents

We assess privacy incidents and notify authorities and affected individuals as required by applicable law.

Children's privacy

VidCC is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will take steps to delete it. Please contact [email protected] with any concerns.
